Access to Apprenticeship Programme
Access to Apprenticeship programme are offering 15 places to help young people aged 16-24 who need an extra boost in gaining an apprenticeship placement.
Access to Apprenticeship is a two week programme, designed to help young people aged 16-24 who would like an apprenticeship, but need extra help in gaining one.
This programme helps you develop your employability skills so you can confidently apply for an apprenticeship either with us or with another employer.
We cannot guarantee an apprenticeship, but if you show the right attitude and commitment our dedicated team will work with you to help you achieve your goals. Many people who attended our previous programmes are now completing an apprenticeship with the Council.

Week 1 and 2 includes classroom-based employability sessions, including, Customer Service, Confidence, interview skills and many more.
The next Access to Apprenticeship programme runs from Monday 11 May to Friday 22 May 2015.
Sessions run from 9.30am - 1pm and will include two weeks of sessions on developing employability skills we value as an employer.

The closing date for all applications is: 1 May 2015
If successful at the application form stage you will have to attend an initial interview on 6 May 2015: Please make sure you are able to attend all the above dates before applying for the Access to Apprenticeship Programme.
