Long awaited plans for Manor Farm are one step closer to becoming a reality with the process to appoint a contractor to deliver £10m of improvements to around 300 homes and the surrounding neighbourhood getting underway.
Representatives from the Manor Farm Residents' Association interviewed shortlisted contractors and asked key questions about how contractors will work with the community and what added value they will bring to the scheme.
This extensive programme of work includes external wall insulation, new windows, new doors, new flat roofs, new boundary fencing and environmental works that complement the works that are carried out to the homes.
Once a contractor is appointed we will be able to talk in more detail to residents about the timescales for delivering the programme and start to answer questions about how the contractors will work on site.
